This is the 31st year of the Palm Beach International Boat Show, and it is still going strong. The show takes place on the Intracoastal between downtown West Palm and Palm Beach Island. The Boat Show is an exhibition of boats ranging anywhere from 8′ inflatables to massive super yachts over 150′ long. Whether you’re interested in seeing the latest offshore fishing model or you want to investigate which type of yacht would be perfect for you to cruise the Caribbean, you can probably find what you’re looking for at the Palm Beach Boat Show. The show is one of the top 5 shows in the country, and the boats present total to more than $1.2 billion, so if you’re in the market for a new vessel or just love to look at sea giants, this could be the place for you.
The show makes its home in gorgeous downtown West Palm Beach, with an interest on the famous Clematis St. To enter the show, you must pay a $21 cover charge ($11 for children), but it is well worth the money. Once inside, you can make your way through aisles and aisles of booths set up by marine venders, selling products varying from electronics to boat accessories. There are also seminars with topics ranging from boat safety, to maintenance, and even a fishing clinic for children. Of course amidst all of this are the hundreds of boats taking port in the Intracoastal, which decorate the border of the land portion of the show. The show also features food and live music, showcasing something for all audiences.
The Palm Beach International Boat Show started on March 17th and carries on through Sunday the 20th. If you haven’t had the chance to go enjoy yourself, you still have today, tomorrow, and Sunday to do so, and we at One Ocean Drive recommend taking advantage of the opportunity!
